Court Operations Supervisor

Summary:
Under the direction of the Trial Court Administrator, supervises and completes work in court operations as needed for the Circuit, District and Probate Courts. Directly supervises staff responsible for processing civil, criminal, family, juvenile, traffic, and probate cases. Performs daytime, evening, and weekend Magistrate functions as needed.

STARTING ANNUAL SALARY: $39,421.20 plus call pay and benefits

Employment Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree OR Associate degree with supervisory experience.  The court, in its discretion, may consider an alternative combination of formal education and work experience.

Medical Examiner Investigator - Part Time

Gogebic County is currently seeking applicants for the position of Medical Examiner Investigator.

These individuals will investigate the medically relevant circumstances surrounding unexpected, unattended, and traumatic deaths reported to the Office of the Medical Examiner. These individuals will also perform a variety of routine and complex work for the Medical Examiner in addition to preparing written reports documenting the investigative findings. This position will require travel within Gogebic County by the employee in their own vehicle with paid mileage.

Wage Range: Established by the County Compensation Schedule, no benefits, part-time on-call as per a monthly schedule.
